VSoft at e-Leasing Day 8.0: Shaping the future of leasing together

The 8th edition of e-Leasing Day has now come to a close; held on 16–17 April in Warsaw, it attracted a record number of participants, both in person and online. This year’s theme, ‘Architects of the Future’, aptly captured the direction of the discussions, which largely focused not on the technology itself, but on how it actually impacts the way leasing organisations operate.

The same conclusion kept coming up in the discussions: the problem facing the market today is not a lack of tools, but an excess of them and a lack of consistency between them. The result? A fragmented architecture and an increasingly long path from idea to implementation.

VSoft’s presence: a stand and a presentation on managing complexity

We participated in the event as a partner – we were present both on stage and at our stand, where we discussed the practical challenges of digitalisation in the leasing industry.

Anna Kurek-Płaneta and Paweł Wroniewicz were present at the conference and were happy to share their experience regarding the practical aspects of process digitalisation.

On the main stage, Grzegorz Skulimowski and Paweł Skawiński spoke on a topic that came up in many presentations: the growing number of systems, which does not translate into faster delivery of changes. Rather than talking about the latest technological possibilities, they demonstrated how to organise the existing environment and build an architecture that truly keeps pace with the organisation’s development.

In this context, VSoft archITekt was presented as a way to reduce complexity – a solution that does not add another layer of systems, but allows for the coherent development of what already exists, and a faster transition from idea to working solution.

There was also a reference to a practical approach, in which, instead of many specialist tools, a few well-chosen ones suffice – symbolically referred to as the ‘10’ and the ‘13’. In this context, archITekt acts as a key element that simplifies and organises day-to-day work with systems.

Digitalisation as a process, not an IT project

It was made clear in many panel discussions and presentations that digitalisation in the leasing sector is ceasing to be a technological project and is instead becoming a way of organising work and managing customer relationships.

On the one hand, the importance of automation and artificial intelligence is growing; on the other, there remains a strong need for relationship-building and trust. It was increasingly pointed out that an effective operating model is a hybrid approach, in which technology supports operational processes but does not replace contact with an advisor.

At the same time, it was noted that the greatest challenge is no longer access to tools, but their integration and the organisation’s ability to consciously design the entire IT environment, rather than building further piecemeal solutions.

Conclusions

e-Leasing Day 8.0 clearly demonstrated that the leasing industry is entering a phase where the key question is no longer ‘what to implement’, but ‘how to bring it all together’. System architecture, process consistency and the pace of change delivery are becoming increasingly important.

In this context, the role of solutions such as VSoft archITekt boils down to organising the technological environment and shortening the path between a business decision and its implementation.

Thank you for the many conversations during the event and for visiting our stand. We return convinced that the future of leasing will not be defined by the number of systems, but by the quality of their collaboration.
