VSoft AI Document Analyser is a document analysis module that leverages the power of artificial intelligence to recognize, interpret, and return structured data from court documents. It significantly extends the functionality of the VSoft Court Portal Connector (VCPC) integrated with the Polish Common Courts Information Portal.
What is the VSoft AI Document Analyser?
VSoft AI Document Analyser is an intelligent document analysis module that uses AI to recognize and interpret text, and then return it in a structured format. Unlike traditional OCR tools, which only read text from documents, this module is based on Azure Document Intelligence and OpenAI (ChatGPT) services. These not only recognize the text but also interpret its content and present it in a ready-to-use form.
What Types of Documents Does It Support?
The module supports both digital documents and scanned paper versions in formats like pdf, jpg, docx, and image files. It can be tailored to meet individual client needs, enabling effective data extraction from court documents, execution documents, loan and insurance documents, and other materials that require precise processing and analysis.
Key functionalities
The module analyses multi-page documents with varying structures and transforms them into data sets ready for further processing. It uses trained AI models for this purpose, which are able to identify key information in the content of the document, such as the date, file reference, document type (e.g. warrant, judgment), court name and department or court costs. The module can be trained to handle new document types according to the organisation’s requirements, and the user has the option to further refine the model by tagging new document examples.
Analysing letters and e-deliveries from the Common Courts Information Portal
VSoft AI Document Analyser is an extension of the mass retrieval service for court letters and e-deliveries from the Common Courts Information Portal, implemented using the VSoft Court Portal Connector (VCPC). The VCPC service automatically retrieves information on active court proceedings on behalf of the attorney, such as the current status of the case, details of the proceedings, registered actions, schedule of hearings (completed and planned). In addition, the VCPC Connector allows for the receipt of electronic and paper court documents, as well as bulk downloads and their archiving in a selected location. VSoft AI Document Analyser will allow the extraction of additional information contained in court letters that is not recorded and made available by the PISP. This will make it possible to automate the analysis of letters, track deadlines, as well as identify the types of costs, their amount and the type of interest charged. This in turn will streamline billing processes in external financial systems.
Benefits of Using VSoft AI Document Analyser
- Process Automation – The solution processes unstructured, multi-page documents in various formats, applying advanced analysis through precisely trained AI models. This ensures that even complex documents are interpreted efficiently and accurately.
- Elimination of Time-Consuming Manual Tasks – Tedious processes of document analysis and manual data entry become a thing of the past. The module automatically extracts key information and records it in internal systems, saving time and resources.
- Scalability – The system easily adapts to growing needs – an invaluable advantage for large organizations or situations requiring rapid processing of high volumes of documents in a short time.
- Data Standardization – With the ability to train the model according to individual requirements, the solution extracts data tailored to an organization’s specifics. This is especially important for companies subject to regulations requiring strict data categorization standards.
- Faster Results Delivery – Operating in real-time, the module allows for immediate response to incoming documents, which is critical in situations that demand fast decision-making or adherence to deadlines.
- Model Retraining Capability – The AI model can be continuously improved by tagging additional document examples.
- Flexibility – The solution’s architecture supports the creation of dedicated models for different types of documents, increasing the precision of key data extraction.
- Data Security – The solution uses Microsoft Azure services, ensuring high standards of data protection and encryption.
Implementation and Customization
VSoft AI Document Analyser is deployed in the Microsoft Azure cloud, enabling full utilization of cloud technologies for document processing. Organizations can choose to use either a ready-made model for court documents or request a customized solution tailored to their specific needs. Furthermore, the model can be continuously improved by adding new sample documents, which gradually increases the accuracy of data extraction. The project’s success in the area of receivables management opens the door to broader applications, marking a significant step toward full automation of court document processing.
