Biuro Informacji Kredytowej S.A. - The partner of the 5th Financial Business Meeting is BIK, an enterprise founded by the Polish Bank Association and private banks. The main task of BIK is to collect, integrate and share data on the credit history of bank customers.

Summary

The topic of the fifth edition of the Financial Business Meeting was the implementation of the new version of the BIK KI 4.0 system and the PAF KI platform. The event partner was the BIK Group. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the implementation stages, as well as to trigger discussion and create a space for sharing one’s own observations in the context of data exchange. Here are some of the key topics discussed during the event:

1. Implementation of the new version of the BIK KI 4.0 system:

    • The test environment has already been migrated to version 4.0, but interfaces in version 3.7 are still available.
    • A migration of the production environment is planned in the coming weeks.
    • Subscribers have complete freedom in the order in which they switch to the new version of the system: information batches, reports, and anti-fraud products.
    • In the new version of the BIK KI 4.0 system, the interfaces and data structure of anti-fraud products have been made independent of “credit” products.

2. New version of the BIK PAF KI platform:

So far, the information focus has been on the implementation of the new version of the BIK KI 4.0 system, but it is worth noting that the anti-fraud platform also has a new version.

3. The future of the BIK system for enterprises:

The BIK Group does not plan to start work on a new version of the system for enterprises in the near future. The decision to start work was postponed until after the stabilization of the system for individual clients.

4. The issue of test data in STT environments:

Currently, available test data does not always meet quality assumptions, which complicates the process of testing both reports and complete processes using report data.

5. Benefits of using connectors:

The benefits of using connectors that integrate the banking environment with Biuro Informacji Kredytowej environment were discussed, as well as the additional business functionalities that such a connector brings. The meeting discussed the typical process of implementing the connector, taking into account the role of the Bank and BIK S.A. and connector suppliers.
